That sounds interesting, but I'm not sure I'm convinced. It seems similar to the Goolge Chrome way which I find really useful - type "wi", press tab and then type your search.

I've started using this quite a lot, if you use keyboard shortcuts in Firefox it saves a lot of time to be able to type "info: elephants" to jump straight to the Wikipedia page. I'd like to see the ability to define custom functions though. (I'd add functions for browsing programming language references, "php: ", "java: ", etc).
